Sketching again...

Playing around in the sketchbook.  Found this 1950s black and white photo of a young domestic apprentice. Thought her rolling pin looked a bit like a litho roller. As hard as my mother tried to teach me to cook it never took.  I remember getting cooking gifts like miniature kitchen gadgets and a rolling pin. Today, I still resist cooking but I genuinely admire people who do it well.  Sometimes I'll print past the dinner hour.  Just so you know, my daughter is an amazing cook just like my mother.  Guess it skips a generation.

Think I may have offended a few of my printmaking friends who actually like to make pies...so those of you who print and bake please forgive me. Perhaps I should change it to "I Make Prints Not Pies" instead.
